Stage Makeup
The aim of stage makeup is to make you obtain the best result. In Middle Eastern, the stage makeup is a very important thing because the facial expressions is also a part of the dance.
The stage makeup is used especially on stage. It is not like a normal makeup; it takes much longer and it is expensive. Beside theatre, the stage makeup is also used for movies and special effects. Though, if you are looking for cheap product, use Wet-n-Wild.
When applying a stage makeup, you have to be very careful. For example, any makeup surplus should be removed, to avoid discomfort and bad-looking makeup. When applying it, you should seriously take into account that you will be seen by a lot of people. You will also be in the front of reflectors, in heat so a resistent makeup is needed.
A stage makeup should not be influenced by the external factors. It has to be very resistant and also has to look good. The eyes should always look wonderful, because they are "the mirror of your soul". Anyway, it is recommended a professional makeup artist to apply a stage makeup. A lot of skill and accuracy is required.
How to Apply Stage Makeup
A stage makeup is a must, when it comes about theatre performances or dance competitions. Like I said before, a stage makeup is different from a regular makeup and is more expensive. Forwards you will learn how to apply a stage makeup. In the beginning, apply a liquid foundation, needed for the powder to stick. The type of powder should be your choice. After powder, it is time for blush. This has not to be a light color, and should be slightly applied. For eye shadow, the only colors that you should use are tans or browns. Also, apply a medium color to the bottom and the light color on top. If needed, apply some white to the lighter color. For eyelashes you should use an 110 ardell black. For a natural look, use ardell glue, which dries the color. The next step is to apply a 2mm black eyeliner. End with a red lipstick applied and a lip liner that fits the lipstick. And take my advice: apply the foundation of the creme with special sponges wedges!
Applying Stage Makeup like a Professional
For a professional stage makeup, the first thing you have to do is to find the perfect makeup products. The correct product will make you look good and won't harm your skin. You should always remember that anyone on the auditorium can see your face, even those sitting in the back.
