Applying Mineral Makeup
Applying mineral makeup is not so difficult. Though, there are several ways and techniques to apply it. Anyway, you should keep in mind the basic of makeup application, because it is the same for all makeup types. However, your makeup should always look good, so keep practicing and in the future you will be able to apply makeup like a professional makeup artist.
Applying The Foundation and Finishing Powder
It is reported that the foundation is always difficult to apply. So, when you are buying foundation, make sure you read the label information.
If you need heavier coverage, you should apply foundation with a kabuki brush. The kabuki is a very dense brush. With its help, you can buff the minerals into your skin. Anywise, the kabuki brush is not recommended because you can easily irritate your skin, in case you have a sensitive skin.
Fluffy brushes are also a method for applying mineral makeup. Even if you are using natural hair or synthetic brushes, it doesn't really matter. The most important thing is the quality. The method is the same with kabuki brushes: swirl your brush in the makeup, remove the excess and tap the brush in a downward motion. For more coverage, apply another layer.
Applying a Wet Foundation
Your mineral makeup can also be applied wet. You can do it with a brush or with a sponge. For the first method, you have to moisten your foundation with some lotion or water, then apply it on your face, in a downward motion. The second way is to moisten your sponge, dip into the foundation, then apply it on your face, also in a downward motion. Likewise, you can apply the foundation dry and spray it with a hydrosol or something similar. All of these techniques should be applied in a downward motion because your makeup will look more natural because your pores are laying that way naturally.
